Job Title: Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Lead Auditor
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- To plan, manage, implement and monitor all quality management systems and processes on site. The successful professional will help drive a positive QSHE culture and agenda within the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the MS deployment projects including ESMS, QMS, OHSMS & IMS.
- Support and manage technical conformance audits and studies including MS internal audit, PIAR, EIA, EER.

- Improve and update our current ISO 9001:2008 standard to 9001:2015 and will implement ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 systems going forward
- Evaluate and analyze quality issues in any of our Projects and introduce corrective and preventive actions
- Liaise with management and staff to ensure continued QHSE integration into core operations
- Plan, organize, direct and control all activities related to the quality system including meetings, training and updating documents and records for all aspects of the systems;
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring that the business is legally compliant at all times.
- Implement periodic gap analysis and identify hazards and opportunities for enhancing quality, health, safety, environmental and compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory HSE requirements
- Monitor and ensure that all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation is complied with and ensure a safe working environment for all team members within a busy service environment.
- Identification and coordination of interfaces with internal and external stakeholders to ensure necessary support to enable delivery of the projects.
- Preparation of the master audit schedule, audit implementation and management of follow up for corrective actions.
- Evaluate, analyze quality issues and implements systems to identify, track, report and reduce or eliminate non-conformities;
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelors in an Engineering course or Health, Safety and Environment field of study.
- 3-5 years experience working in a similar audit position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Good analytical skills and ability to think critically
- Good public speaking and leadership skills
- QMS and HSE Certified (NEBOSH, IOSH general certificate or equivalent)
- In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g, OSHA/EPA) and procedures
- Proficient in all Microsoft Applications
